Membrane Solutions' Paper chromatography is an analytical technique for separating and identifying mixtures that are or can be colored, especially pigments. Chromatography paper can also be used in secondary or primary colors in ink experiments. This method has been largely replaced by thin layer chromatography; however chromatography paper is still a powerful teaching tool.

Membrane Solutions' chromatography paper media are made from specially selected cotton cellulose. They are rigorously quality controlled for characteristics important to the chromatographer and to ensure uniformity within the grade. The chromatography paper product line includes standard cellulose and ion exchange grades. MS® chromatography paper’s good qualities are relied upon by chromatographers and are essential to successful, reproducible chromatography.
